Make Rent is published by DTCONCIERGE SRL (Mun. Sibiu, Aleea Călărașilor, Nr. 5, Bl. G, Ap. 54, Județ Sibiu, Romania). Contact: support@make-rent.com.
The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The game itself makes no network requests; everything it knows about you stays on your phone. The single exception is the optional one-time purchase: buying it, restoring it, or (once you own it) starting the app sends a randomly generated app identifier and your purchase record to RevenueCat, the purchase-management service described under Purchases below. If you have not bought anything, that never happens at all. Nothing else ever leaves the device.
The game's website, make-rent.com, is a separate matter and is covered under The website below. The one thing it can collect is an email address, and only if you type one into the form yourself.
The game saves your progress on your device only:
This is written to your device's local storage. It never leaves the phone, it is not readable by us or anyone else, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. There is no way for us to recover it, because we never had it.
The app requests two Android permissions: INTERNET, which loads
the game's own local files and carries the purchase verification described
under Purchases, and VIBRATE, for haptic feedback. Nothing else is
sent anywhere.
When you choose to share a Daily Shift receipt, the game hands the image and text to whichever app you pick from your phone's share sheet. That happens entirely on your device and only when you tap share. We do not see the receipt, and we are not told that you shared it. Once it reaches another app, that app's own privacy policy applies.
Make Rent offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks the remaining jobs. All purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address. Google's handling of that transaction is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
To remember that you've made this purchase — so you keep access after reinstalling the app or moving to a new device — Make Rent uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app identifier and your purchase record (which product you bought and when). It does not receive your name, email address, or payment details. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
That exchange happens when you buy, when you restore a purchase, and, if you own the purchase, once when the app starts, to confirm it is still valid. If you have not bought anything, the app never contacts RevenueCat at all.
This policy also covers make-rent.com, the game's website, which is separate from the app.
The site keeps anonymous page-view counts using Vercel Web Analytics, including on the playable demo pages. This is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and collects nothing that could identify you. We see aggregate numbers (which pages were viewed, roughly where from, on what kind of device), never anything about you as a person. Beyond that, the site runs no advertising or tracking of any kind, and the app itself contains no analytics at all.
If you enter your email address in the "notify me" form, we store two things: the address itself, and the date and time you submitted it. That record exists for one purpose, to send you a single email when the game reaches Google Play. It is never shared, sold, or used for anything else, and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to delete the record at any time by writing to support@make-rent.com, and we will remove it without asking why.
The form is protected against automated abuse by a counter that limits how often one visitor can submit it. That counter is keyed to an irreversible hash of your IP address, not the address itself, and it is discarded within an hour. We store no IP addresses.
The list is held by Upstash, our database provider, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both process the data on our behalf and, as any web host does, receive the connection details (including your IP address) that reaching a website necessarily involves. Neither uses the data for its own purposes.
The site loads two typefaces (Oswald and Courier Prime) from Google Fonts, which means your IP address and browser details reach Google's servers when a page loads. We are replacing them with self-hosted copies, after which the site will make no third-party requests at all.
The legal basis for storing your address is your consent, given when you submit the form. You are never asked for it: the site is completely usable without it.
The app requests no personal information from anyone, including children. The only data that ever leaves the device is the purchase record described above, handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. The website's notify form is the single place we ever ask for an email address; it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any user of any age.
Data protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability over personal data held about you. The only personal data we hold is the purchase record described above and, if you gave us one, the email address and timestamp described under The website. Write to support@make-rent.com to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will act without asking why. You may also complain to your national data protection authority; in Romania that is ANSPDCP. Your game progress is under your own control and is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings.
If a future version of the app, or a change to the website, changes what we do with data, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change.
